8:45 - 9:30 am | Blended Worship in the Sanctuary
Our Blended Worship service combines both traditional and modern elements of worship for those seeking a simple, yet meaningful approach to worship. Traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs are sung with a piano accompanist. Communion is served weekly during Blended Worship.
9:15 - 9:45 am |Fellowship and Breakfast in Reeves Hall
All are invited to drop by Reeves Hall starting at 9:15 am to enjoy fellowship and a light breakfast including coffee or juice.
9:45 - 10:45 am | Sunday School for All Ages
Sunday School is available for all ages and stages of life between 9:45 and 10:45 am. Please contact the church office for more information on Sunday School offerings. We would love to prayerfully help you find the perfect class to connect!
11:00 am - Noon | Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary
Our Traditional Worship service includes more formal elements of worship including a Call to Worship, Affirmation of Faith, Doxology, Gloria Patri, and more. Hymns are sung with piano and/or organ accompanist. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month during Traditional Worship.
What to Expect
Where should I park?
Park in any available spot in our parking lot. If you need help moving from your car into the building, we have greeters available to assist however is most helpful.
What should I wear?
You are welcome at City Point UMC just as you are! You will see some worshippers who are dressed in their Sunday Best, while others like to keep things casual with jeans and sneakers. Wear whatever is most comfortable to you.
Where do I go when I arrive?
That depends on your plan for the morning! If you would like to attend Fellowship Time, enter through the doors to Reeves Hall on the west side of the building. If you are only attending worship, there are doors to the Sanctuary located on the east and south sides of the building.
What do you offer for kids?
Childcare is available for children aged 6 months-Pre-K in the nursery every week starting at 8:15 am. For elementary-aged kiddos, we offer Sunday School from 9:30-10:30 am and Children's Church during the Traditional Worship service. We have children's worship bags and bulletins available to keep kids engaged if your family chooses to worship together.
Can I receive Communion?
Yes! The United Methodist Church practices an "open table,” meaning that every person regardless of age or stage in faith is invited to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion.
