A ministry for all men” is what the United Methodist Men of City Point United Methodist Church is all about.
Our mission is “to help men grow in Christ, so others may know Christ”.
We seek to accomplish this mission through service and leadership
The United Methodist Men stand ready to help any other ministry of the church in projects within the church and throughout the community that will help others experience the love of Christ.
Throughout the year the United Methodist Men provide leadership in various projects such as:
¨ A men’s retreat/outing to help men grow spiritually and to examine their role as a Christian man in today’s society.
¨ Provides scholarships for youth seeking to go to camp.
¨ Organizes and prepares an annual breakfast for the graduating high school seniors, their parents, and families.
¨ Provides a scholarship for a graduating senior
¨ Sponsors the Billy Bob Crocker Bake-Off, an opportunity for men to show off their baking skills and at the same time raise money to help fund the Adult Mission Trip to McCurdy School and Mission.
¨ Organizes and participates in work days, conducting repairs and cleanup projects around the church.
¨ Helps to promote the Scouting ministry of the church.

The United Methodist Men of City Point United Methodist Church meets once a month on a Saturday (please check church calendar at www.citypointumc.org).  We break bread together over breakfast, we spend time in fellowship, devotion, and discussion of opportunities to serve and to lead and do some work around the church as needed.  For more information about UMMen contact Jim Allen at info@citypointumc.org. We invite all men of the church and our community to become a part of City Point United Methodist Men and join us in “helping men grow in Christ, so others may know Christ.”
